For the third year in a row, MyFrenchFilmFestival, the online event organised by UniFrance broke records. After 6.5 million views in 2016 and 6.7 million last year, the 8th edition of the festival (read the news here), which took place from 19 January to 19 February, smashed its previous record with more than 10 million views. On the MyFrenchFilmFestival.com platform, the five countries with the most views were (in order): Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Poland and Russia. But the festival was also accessible via fifty partner platforms around the world and China established itself as the most consumer-heavy region via Jia Screen (the platform founded by Jia Zhangke).
