We interviewed the winners of the Works in Progress and Docs in Progress awards at the KVIFF Eastern Promises Industry Days of the 54th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.

Producers Roman Borisevich and Anna Shalashina discuss their Russian-Moldovan co-production Pigeon’s Milk by first-time writer-director Eugen Marian, winner of the Works in Progress prize, while director Afsaneh Salari talks about her Iranian-Filipino co-production The Silhouettes, which won the Docs in Progress award, flanked by her assistant Hoda Siehtiri.
