Best Friend Forever are limbering up to take part in the European Film Market, which is unspooling online from 10 to 17 February, as part of the 72nd Berlinale. The international sales agent based in Brussels has added another prestigious author to its catalogue, in the form of Bertrand Bonello and his latest work Coma [+leggi anche:

, which is a hybrid project blending live action shots, animation and social media videos. Due to be presented within the Encounters competition, the film plunges viewers inside the mind of a young woman confined to her bedroom who only understands the world though screens. She navigates from window to window and from one media form to another, guided by a mysterious female YouTuber. The cast stars Louise Labeque (previously seen in the filmmaker’s earlier opus Zombi Child [+leggi anche:

), alongside the voices of the late Gaspard Ulliel, Louis Garrel, Laetitia Casta, Anaïs Demoustier and Vincent Lacoste. Produced by French firms Les Films du Bélier, My New Picture and Remembers Production, the movie will be distributed in France by New Story.

Best Friend Forever will also be flaunting an attractive French line-up, including A Change of Heart [+leggi anche:

, a first feature film by actor Jérémie Elkaïm which is carried by a breathtaking Marina Foïs and is based upon the true story of a former National Front militant who ends up working as a volunteer in the Calais Jungle and going so far as to help an Iranian refugee cross the Channel. The film will be released in France and Belgium on 23 February.

Last but not least, Best Friend Forever are also set to manage sales of Caroline Monnet’s Quebecker film Bootlegger, which has just enjoyed its international premiere at the Göteborg Film Festival.
