), the story revolves around Cédric who works in a precision engineering firm disastrously run by an investment fund. When the company’s impending resale to another fund is announced, Cédric decides to take over the firm himself and place it in the hands of its employees.

The Takeover is produced by Denis Carot and Ulysse Payet on behalf of Elzévir Films, in co-production with VLR Productions, Les 400 Clous, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Cinéma and Jour2Fête (who will distribute the film in French cinemas). The feature film has been pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+, and also enjoys the support of the SOFICA company Cinéventure. The six-week film shoot ran from 16 August to 24 September, with Eva Sehet at the wheel of photography. International sales are steered by The Party Films Sales.
