), Filip Trajković, Aleksandar Mikić, Simona Spirovska and Ana Stojanovska.

British production designer David Munns, Danish cinematographer Ulrik Boel Bentzen, Italian make-up artist Mario Michisanti (The Passion of the Christ, Gangs of New York), and Macedonian casting director Milka Anchevska and costume designer Žaklina Krstevska round off the crew list.

Manchevski is re-teaming with Jane Kortoshev, of North Macedonia-based Banana Film, and Ian Prior’s UK outfit Scala Productions, with whom he worked on Willow. The co-producers include Meta Louise Foldager Sørensen and Mette Børch, of Denmark's Meta Film; Els Vandevorst and Isabella Depeweg, of Dutch company N279 Entertainment; Siniša Juričić, of Croatia's Jaako Dobra Produkcija; and Ivan Doykov, of Bulgaria's Dare Films.

Supported by Eurimages, Kaymak is a European co-production with the majority of the funding coming from outside North Macedonia. The film is financed by the North Macedonia Film Agency, the Danish Film Institute, the Netherlands Film Fund, the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, the Bulgarian National Film Center, and Macedonian National Radio and TV, with support from Alkaloid and NLB/Visa.
