For her graduation film, marking the end of her studies in Directing at the DFFB (Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie) in Berlin, young German filmmaker Katharina Woll teamed up with Florian Plumeyer to develop the script for their tragicomedy Alle wollen geliebt werden (lit. “Everybody Wants to Be Loved”). Shooting is currently taking place in Berlin and is scheduled to wrap by mid-June. In this feature, destined for a theatrical release, the protagonist will be played by German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who recently appeared in I Was, I Am, I Will Be [+leggi anche:

Ratte-Polle will be stepping into the shoes of psychotherapist Ina, who is too busy with her clients and her rebellious daughter to follow up on her own physical problems and needs. She is under pressure from all sides: there are her clients in the practice, her daughter (Drinda) threatens to go to live with her father and Ina's ex-husband (Hien), her boyfriend (Jucker) wants to immigrate with her to Finland, and her mother (Willenbacher) needs help to organise her 70th birthday party. It seems there is no place for Ina in this life. She wants to please everyone, but it is simply not possible.
