, the feature debut by Best Short Film Goya winners Javier Marco Rico and Belén Sánchez-Arévalo, will be shown off, and Secuoya Studios’ strategy, which has had a broad international impact, will be unpicked.

Standing out among the round-tables is the one promoted by the Audiovisual Industry Alliance (ALÍA), which will home in on virtual production, a technical tool that has gained momentum thanks to the pandemic. The debates “What Impact Will the European COVID-19 Recovery Fund Have on the Audiovisual Sector?”, “The Audiovisual Industry in the Twitch Era”, “Filmmaking on the Margins of the Spanish Audiovisual Industry”, “The Future of the Movie Theatre” and “Independent Production in the Platform Era” will also be hosted by the gathering.

Lo Que Viene 2021 will place special emphasis on the incentives that Navarre provides for the audiovisual sector by holding a round-table that will aim to update attendees on the methods that the regional institutions are using to convert audiovisual into a strategic sector. The upcoming sessions will focus on the opportunities of film tourism: among other initiatives, the first-ever travel agency specialising in this field, Dartacan.Travel, will be introduced. On the flip side, another round-table will be organised to break down the challenges of film tourism.

Furthermore, a clutch of projects hailing from Navarre will be presented at this edition. They include Surcos by Julio Mazarico, a fiction feature that tells five stories inspired by films that turn their attention to elderly people; Ama-das [+leggi anche:
