Spring is already here as a launching slogan for the very attractive lineup of French international sales agent Kinology (headed by Grégoire Melin) set to be presented at the European Film Market (online, from 1 to 5 March) of the 71st edition of the Berlinale.

Pre-sales will begin on five new enticing titles in post-production, including three films from female filmmakers: The Divide [+leggi anche:

 from well-known and experienced French filmmaker Jacques Doillon. Produced by Arena Films, the feature (which will be distributed in France by Apollo Films) centres on Claire, an 8-year-old girl who is constantly bullied at school by her classmate Kevin, but discovers that the boy who is giving her a hard time is also suffering and might need her help.

Another new arrival in the lineup is Vanishing from eclectic French director Denis Dercourt (The Page Turner [+leggi anche:

). Produced by The French Connection with South Korea and Belgium, this new film features Olga Kurylenko, Yeon-Seok Yoo and Jiwon Ye for a journey to Seoul where a series of gruesome murders leads the Korean investigation police to seek help from world-renowned French doctor Alice Launey, who has developed a revolutionary technique for recognising bodies. With more corpses on the way and a mysterious organ trafficking ring uncovered, things are about to get more dangerous in the land of the morning calm...

At the online EFM, Kinology will no doubt create the buzz with the unveiling of trailers for two of its most eagerly anticipated films: Mia Hansen-Løve’s Bergman Island [+leggi anche:
