For its 103rd session, Wallimage, the Walloon regional investment fund, is funding eight new projects with more than €900,000, including the ambitious Black Swan Tales collection of features, staged by Entre chien et Loup in Belgium. This is a set of four feature-length genre films, all standalone artistically speaking, but all produced based on the same template. It’s a system that’s been tried and tested in the USA, inspired by the feat that the company Blumhouse was able to achieve, spawning a well-known and highly successful work of the calibre of Get Out. Two of the four films will be shot in the French language, and three of them will be filmed in Wallonia. Wallimage will also back three fiction features.

Another project that was initiated in Belgium and is being supported by the fund, Des gens bien, a 6x50-minute mini-series financed by RTBF and Arte, reunites the creative team behind the successful French-language Belgian series The Break, with production duties entrusted to Belgian outfit Hélicotronc.

Lastly, Wallimage is also backing three additional projects: the documentary Addio Amore, the documentary series Light +, and the animated series La Cabane à histoires.
