scheda film] (2015), as well as for her recent television endeavour, the BBC Two series Trigonometry, which premiered during this year’s Berlinale Series and is set in a crowded, expensive London, where a cash-strapped couple is forced to open their small flat to a third person. The announcement was first reported by Screen International.
The script of Harvest, based on Jim Crace’s 2013 novel of the same name and penned by veteran producer Joslyn Barnes, is set in a medieval village in England and follows the villagers’ reaction to three newcomers, who become scapegoats in a time of economic turmoil. The project benefited from a €50,000 development grant awarded by the European Union’s Creative Europe – MEDIA programme. The cast and release date are yet to be disclosed.
