and nominated that same year for a Most Promising Actor César Award; also appearing in Our Wonderful Lives).

Written by the director together with Claire Mercier and Franck Vassal, the script centres on Esther, a thirty-something translator. One day she receives, without knowing why, a manuscript, written like a personal diary. Its content echoes her own life and she decides to find the author in order to find out about the ending of the story, what happens after the diary stops. A quest which will allow for her own return to life…

Produced by Bertrand Faivre (faithful partner of the filmmaker's) for Le Bureau, Lifelines has been pre-bought by Ciné+ and OCS and benefited from the support of the Occitanie and Pays de la Loire regions, as well as that of the Cofinova Sofica. The eight weeks of filming took place in France, Spain and Portugal. The feature will be released in the first semester of 2020 and international sales will be handled by The Bureau Sales.
