by Belgium's Bas Devos at the 69th Berlinale (from February 7 to 17) European Film Market, which is due to make its world premiere on the 8 February in the Panorama section.

A film about three characters, each confronted by personal difficulties in modern-day Brussels, the filmmaker's second feature film (after winning the Grand Prix in the Generation 14 section at Berlin in 2014 with his first film, Violet [+leggi anche:

) stars the Italian actress, Alba Rohrwacher, the Dutchman Willy Thomas and Belgians Hamza Belardi and Lubna Azabal. The film was produced by Minds Meet and co-produced by the Dutch outfit Phanta Vision

Run by Alice Lesort, Les Films du Losange will also be showcasing a teaser for Jeanne Balibar's marvellous comedy (currently in post-production) Wonders in the Suburbs [+leggi anche:

and the TV series, Homeland), the French actors Simon Abkarian, Serafin Mishiev and Ilja Monti and the Danish actor Jens Albinus. Written by the director with Daphne Charizani, the screenplay focuses on a violin teacher who takes a young talented boy under her wing, whom she fixates on to the point of forgetting everything else, including her own family... The feature film was produced by the German company Lupa Film and co-produced by the French outfit Idéale Audience.

  by François Armanet (noticed in the Panorama section at the Berlinale in 2002 with Dandy). This Incognita Films production hashes out the history of bunch of female French rock stars over a number of decades, from 1960s pop icons to big names in the social media era, as well as a few 1970s rebels along the way, focusing in particular on the likes of Françoise Hardy, Catherine Ringer, Christine and the Queens, Vanessa Paradis, Brigitte Fontaine and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
