by Cédric Kahn) and Camille Lugan, in collaboration with Fanny Burdino, the plot focuses on Simon who, following the death of his wife, moves to Dubai with his son Camille (Igor Van Dessel) in an attempt to overcome their grief. In this extraordinary city at the end of the world, Camille is able to forget, let go and gradually build a new life for himself. But it's not so easy for Simon. He discovers a disturbing presence at home, an impassive double figure, lurking in the shadows. His anguish builds and thinks he's going crazy, slowly sinking into the quicksand of his own life... But he’s not the only one suffering from a similar threat in Dubai, it appears to be haunting anyone and everyone who resists and refuses to make a clean break from the past...

Produced by Caroline Bonmarchand for Avenue B Productions and by Isaac Sharry for Vito Films, Dune Dreams was co-produced by the Belgian outfit Frakas Productions. Pre-purchased by OCS (which has also acquired French distribution rights and international sales) and Ciné+, the feature also received an advance on earnings from the CNC.
