Written by Géraldine Nakache, the screenplay focuses on Vali and Mina, two sisters who are complete opposites and become distant due to life’s ups and downs. One is a singer, dreamy and emotional. The other is a therapist, distant and rational. Their loving father ends up finding the perfect opportunity to bring them together for a weekend to try to reconcile their differences: Vali has landed an audition in Paris and it is up to Mina to take her there, despite her contempt for her sister's passion.

Produced by Pierre Guyard (winner of the European Film Promotion Producer on the Move Award in 2015 - read the interview here) for Nord-Ouest Films with Stéphane Célérier and Valérie Garcia for Mars Films (who will distribute the film in France), I'll Go Where You Go was co-produced by France 2 Cinéma. Pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+, the feature film benefited from eight weeks of filming in Paris and Nantes with Éric Dumont (The Measure of a Man [+leggi anche:
