As ever very strongly positioned at the Cannes Film Festival, the international sales division of French company Memento Films will once again be in fine fettle thanks to its presence in the highest-profile showcase of the 71st edition of the event (8-19 May). What’s more, the firm fully intends to reap all the benefits of this situation at the Film Market

Indeed, the team managed by Emilie Georges and headed up by head of sales Tanja Meissner will be negotiating deals for two contenders for the 2018 Palme d’Or: Everybody Knows [+leggi anche:

(working title: Against All Enemies) by Benedict Andrews, toplined by Kristen StewartJack O’Connell and Anthony Mackie, the shoot for which will get under way this summer. The film, based on real-life events, tells of the problems that Breathless actress Jean Seberg had with the FBI, after it placed her under surveillance illegally in the late 1960s because of her links with civil rights activist Hakim Jamal.
