3iS, the leading audiovisual campus in Europe, which aims to train the best talents in the world through programs such as: BFA Filmmaking, BA- Film & TV, MFA Cinematography and MFA Recording & Sound Production.
3iS, trains students for image and sound professions : cinema, audiovisual, technical and stage management, 2D and 3D animation cinema, video games, multimedia graphic design, etc. We believe in hands-on learning which is why our students have access to our 300-m2 theater arts stage, a motion capture studio, a 300-seat screening room, and a movie set among other facilities on campus.
Two numbers we are especially proud of are our 15 000 m² dedicated to educational spaces and the fact that 87% of students find work within the first year after finishing their studies.
3iS boasts about 10 to 15 % international students representing 20 different nationalities.
- BFA in Filmmaking (3 years): The core of this program is filmmaking with an emphasis on storytelling, creativity and technical expertise through an international program, preparing students for careers around the world.
- BA Film & TV (3 years): This program focuses on directing, production, filming and editing. It is intended for international and French students with a good command of the English language and leads to a state-approved diploma. This program prepares students to enter the French job market.
- MFA in Cinematography (2 years): This Master will teach students to write, direct and produce multi-camera studio programs, mainstream movies, series and dramatic short films. They will develop their artistic and technical skills in areas such as directing, producing, filmmaking and editing.
- MFA in Recording & Music Production (2 years): The heart of this Master is preparing students to work in various fields revolving around sound, from sound-making to mixing, producing sound for concerts, music albums, movie soundtracks, cinema, TV shows, commercials, video games, animation, musicology, sound set design, theater, etc.
