, Prime Video is launching a new Italian original series, Prisma, which will be available to stream from next autumn in over 240 countries and territories worldwide. Directed by Ludovico Bessegato (showrunner of the 42 episodes of SKAM Italia between 2018 and 2020) and written by Bessegato and Alice Urciolo (already author of some episodes of the same SKAM series), Prisma is an eight-episode young adult drama that revolves around the complex relationship between identity, aspirations, physical appearance and sexual orientation of a group of teenagers in Latina, Lazio.

The story's protagonists are twins, Marco and Andrea (embodied by Mattia Carrano), apparently identical but profoundly different in the anxieties they express. Their journey of self-discovery will be both joyful and turbulent and will equally involve their large group of friends, all searching for their place in an ever-changing world.

The cast includes Lorenzo Zurzolo (already in the Netflix show Baby), Caterina Forza, Chiara Bordi, LXX Blood, Matteo Scattaretico, Zakaria Hamza, Riccardo Afan de Rivera Costaguti, Flavia del Prete, Asia Patrignani, Elena Falvella Capodaglio, Andrea Giannini, Nico Guerzoni.

Prisma is produced in Italy by Rosario Rinaldo's Cross Productions (already behind popular serial projects such as Rocco Schiavone, Il cacciatore and SKAM Italia itself) for Amazon Studios. The series, the fourth original produced in Italy for Amazon after Vita da Carlo, Monterossi and Bang Bang Baby, will be available exclusively on Prime Video from next autumn.
