is doubtless the best-known work among them, marking 100 years since the birth of the cinema master. Sales of Anselma Dell'Olio’s film - produced by Mad Entertainment alongside RAI Cinema and in co-production with Walking the Dog, Arte and RAI Com - are co-managed by Nexo Digital. Further details on Fellini’s spiritual and supernatural world as explored in the documentary can be found in our article on Nexo’s Film Market line-up (here).

(co-helmed by Ivan Cappiello, Marino Guarnieri and Dario Sansone), was presented to great acclaim within the Orizzonti section of the Venice Film Festival 2017, going on to win two David di Donatello awards: one for producers Luciano Stella and Maria Carolina Terzi of Mad Entertainment, and another for the special effects department. Cinderella the Cat was sold in various territories including China, Austria, France, Germany and Portugal. Likewise produced by Mad Entertainment together with RAI Cinema, Yaya e Lennie - The Walking Liberty is set in a post-apocalyptic world where nature has regained possession of the planet, encasing it in a jungle-like layer of vegetation. A new society, The Institution, is attempting to prosper from the ruins of the old world and to restore a sense of order. But not all will succumb to this civilisation project... Two free jungle spirits are endeavouring to find their place in the world. Yaya is an intelligent fifteen-year-old girl of mixed race and coarse character. Lennie is a gigantic man of around twenty years of age, wrestling with a mental handicap. Yaya looks out for Lennie and Lennie looks out for Yaya.

Similarly in the post-production phase is Fuori era primavera: Viaggio nell'Italia del lockdown by the Oscar-winning director Gabriele Salvatores, a docu-feature film made in lockdown and intended as a testimony and memoir of the dramatic historical moment which Italy and the rest of the world is currently living through as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic (read our news). With his trademark sensitivity, Salvatores (alongside editors Massimo Fiocchi and Chiara Griziotti) looks to tell a collective and, as such, distinctly multi-faceted story. Various emotions and themes will be explored, from desperation through to hope. There will be times of joy, times of struggle, shared events and intimate moments. The project is steered by Indiana Production alongside RAI Cinema.

by Alberto Ferrari has also seen its international sales entrusted to RAI Com. Starring Luca Bizzarri, Paolo Kessisoglu, Ricky Memphis and Daniele Liotti, flanked by the rising star of Portuguese cinema Filipa Pinto, this on-the-road comedy is the first film production bearing the Eagle trademark. Twenty years on from the time they spent in Lisbon on an Erasmus study programme, four forty-something friends meet up in Portugal to embark upon a surprising journey to unearth a secret which could change one of their lives forever.
