Between 3 and 8 December 2019, Tarragona is playing host to the 19^th edition of REC – the Tarragona International Film Festival, a gathering that, over the course of its existence so far, has been able to successfully combine fostering brand-new projects with screenings of films that have a distinct arthouse and indie flavour. On the other hand, RECLab and MAFIZ (Málaga Festival Industry Zone) have signed a partnership agreement for the next two editions, the aim being to bolster the promotion and funding of projects taking part in Primer Test, as well as in Málaga Work in Progress, the space that MAFIZ devotes to giving a final push to enable the completion of movies at the post-production stage.
