The Film Centre of Montenegro has announced the results of its latest competition for the financing of the production of feature-length fiction and documentary films, as well as project development and script development.

In the feature-film category, the biggest winner was The Black Pin [+lire aussi :

Draško Djurović, whose previous outing, Ace of Spades: Bad Destiny (2012), was a crime-thriller starring Predrag Bjelac and Michael Madsen, will get €150,000 for The Last Night in the Bay, produced by his company Montenegro Max Film.

Nikola Vukčević (the producer of A Balkan Noir [+lire aussi :

and the director of the 2014 Montenegro Oscars submission, The Kids from Marx and Engels Street) has been awarded €120,000 for Face of Honour, staged by Galileo Production.

Serbian-born filmmaker Milan Todorović, best known as the director of genre titles such as Zone of the Dead and Killer Mermaid, as well as being the producer of The Rift [+lire aussi :

, will receive €100,000 for Graveyard Man, produced by B Film Montenegro.

In the documentary section, Sead Šabotić has been awarded €30,000 for Once Upon a Family (Code Blue Production), while Sara Stijović got €25,000 for Djina (Live Production) and Momir Matović received €20,000 for Ljubav, sudbine, beštije.

director Ivan Salatić will be able to benefit from €20,000 for Melting of the Ruler (Meander Film), and Bosnian-born filmmaker Srdjan Vuletić (It's Hard to Be Nice) gets €15,000 for Dolina spomenika (working title, lit. “Valley of Monuments”, Artikulacija Film). Gojko Berkuljan (Iskra [+lire aussi :

) will receive the same amount for Planet 7693 (working title, A Production).

Finally, in the script-development section, €5,000 apiece went to Aleksandar Radulović's Poskokovo leto (Natenane produkcija), Stefan Bošković's Braća (Cut Up) and Gana Čomagić's Transfer (Live Production). Maja Todorović's A.N.A. (Bitter Frames), Mišo Obradović's 15 i po (A Production) and Nikola Mijović's Tri sahrane i vjenčanje (Adriatic Western) are getting €4,000 each, while lastly, €3,000 goes to Mladen Vujačić's Skarabej (Far produkcija).
