fiche film] (2017): the romantic comedy Isi & Ossi is a Netflix title that was shot in one month in Berlin and Baden-Württemberg, as well as Mannheim and Heidelberg. The director penned the movie himself.

The protagonists of this love story, played by Lisa Vicari and Dennis Mojen, are polar opposites: Isi is a billionaire’s daughter from Heidelberg, while Ossi is a struggling boxer from nearby Mannheim. When they meet, their first thought is that they can take advantage of each other: she dates him to provoke her parents and to get them to fund her dream to train as a chef in New York; he wants to rip off the rich girl to finance his first professional boxing match. However, feelings will get in the way of their respective plans and challenge everything they think they know about money, their career and love...

Alongside Vicari and Mojen, Isi & Ossi features Ernst Stötzner, Lisa Hagmeister, Walid Al-Atiyat and Zoe Straub. The cinematography was entrusted to Yoshi Heimrath, with whom Kienle previously worked on Four Hands, and who is also a regular on the films of Burhan Qurbani (We Are Young, We are Strong [+lire aussi :
