The Thessaloniki Film Festival’s Agora is poised to “Go to Cannes” for the third year in a row. Five Greek films that are currently in post-production will be screened as works in progress at the event, which will be held on Monday 20 May at 2 pm in Palais K, during the Marché du Film of the 72nd Cannes Film Festival (14-25 May 2019). The initiative is supported by the Greek Film Centre, in partnership with Cannes’ Marché du Film, and it should be noted that Greece remains the only country from South-Eastern Europe and the Balkans that is taking part in the event.
