European Film Promotion: Which is the film you are most proud of and why?
Nina Bisgaard: I would lie if I didn't say Border (Un Certain Regard winner at Cannes 2018, and an Oscar nominee for Best Hair & Make-Up), as this has given me so many great experiences and opportunities the last year.

What are the challenges and merits of producing in your country?
I believe we are privileged in Denmark. These years we get to make lots of TV series as these are in high demand. We are a bit more challenged on the film site financing and making real money of the film, but this is just pushing us to be more creative and find new ways of producing and packaging the projects. But overall I will say we are doing really, really good.

What are your expectations in Cannes as one of the "Producers on the Move"?
It's a great opportunity to gain this exposure. I'm very excited about it, and believe that it will be both a fun event for me personally, and a fruitful experience for our companies Meta Film and SAM Productions.

What are your next projects?
I’m working on a Danish rom-com, a British rom-com and on the whole other spectre I have a dark drama from Danish director Jeppe Ronde and a UK period drama from Swedish director Jan Troell.
