synopsis

A vain but unsuccessful cultural critic plans to write a biography about an aged artist who once caused furore in the art world as a blind painter, but has fallen into oblivion. The journalist calculates to go viral with his book, which he wants to publish straight after the artist's death, and he manages to break the daily routine of the painter which is marked by age, loneliness and home care. With the promise that he is going to meet his early love, the writer takes the old guy on a journey across Europe.
