A HOLE IN THE HEAD

by Robert Kirchhoff

synopsis

An essayistic fresco about the stories and fates of the European Romani, who are tied to the countries they have inhabited and are inhabiting, which reflects the averted side of the great tragedy known as Porraimos. Without the use of archive footage, this survived and interpreted experience becomes not only a historical testimony but also a declaration about our present.
