PREY

by Antoine Blossier

synopsis

Away in his stepfamily's countryside retreat, Nathan knew that the traditional autumn family gathering was going to be particulary stormy. Claire, his wife, was to announce her pregnancy, and tough decisions needed to be made to prevent the family's pesticide business from closing down. But on the first night, Claire's father is mysteriously attacked by a terrorized deer. The men decide to venture into the surrounding forest to find the reason for the animal's odd behaviour. Carrying a shotgun for the first time in his life and witnessing the growing tensions between the father and his sons, Nathan soon discovers that the hunting season is not over yet. Only this time they have become the prey
