synopsis

After his mother dies, eight-year-old Thomas travels to the mountains to live with his grandfather for a year. A tenacious, inquisitive child, he soon manages to force the adults around him to confront old family secrets centred on a 1950 air tragedy when a plane called 'Malabar Princess' crashed into Mont Blanc.
