Revolving around a soldier who returns to France the day after an ambush in Afghanistan which has decimated his unit, the film was awarded the Bergamo Film Meeting Prize, decided upon by the audience and consisting of 5,000 euros. For their part, the international jury presided over by Volker Schlöndorff, handed the Best Director award, consisting of 2,000 euros, to Romanian director Alina Grigore’s debut feature film Blue Moon [+lee también:

The Close-Up section, meanwhile, saw the audience bestow the CGIL Bergamo Best Documentary prize, worth 2,000 euros, upon Swedish documentary Calendar Girls [+lee también:
