Discovered this summer in the Directors’ Fortnight section in Cannes, where the film won the prestigious Caméra D’Or, Murina follows the journey to emancipation of a young woman determined to take charge of her own destiny. In the arrival of this visitor, Julija glimpses an opportunity for a new future and these few days bear the marks of desire and violence.
