won the same award last year), Marko Škop from Slovakia and Damjan Kozole from Slovenia, stated: “The Golden Pram Award goes to the director and his team, who managed not to betray the trust they had gained after vowing to be the ones who would convey to the world the cries of those whom no one wants to hear,” adding that the award serves to recognise more than just “best film” and “best acting”.

Golden Prams were also given out in the two shorts competitions, the international and the national one, titled Checkers. In the international competition, the winner was Naïla Guiguet’s Dustin, also awarded with the sum of €1,000, again provided by Addiko Bank, while Mariane Saffon’s short Between You and Milagros was awarded a Special Mention. In the Checkers competition, the winning film was Forest, directed by Sara Grgurić, which also won the 10,000 HRK (circa €1,300) prize granted by the Croatian Association of Film Directors, while Sanja Milardović’s I’m Not Telling You Anything, Just Sayin’ was awarded a Special Mention. Both of the categories were judged by the same jury, consisting of last year’s winners, filmmakers Rino Barbir from Croatia and Stefan Đorđević from Serbia, as well as Montenegrin producer Ivan Đurović.

This year, the online audience judged the films in the Together Again competition, dedicated to filmmakers whose movies competed in previous editions of the festival. The Golden Bicycle Award stayed in Croatia and was claimed by Danilo Šerbedžija and his film Tereza37 [+lee también:

According to the main jury, the best movie in the category was H Is for Happiness by Australian helmer John Sheedy, while the Dutch film Jackie and Oopjen, directed by Annemarie van de Mond, was awarded a Special Mention. The children’s jury singled out the Austrian film Oskar & Lili, Where Nobody Knows Us by Arash T Riaki. Finally, the winner of the Industry Youth!
