, which premiered at the 2017 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and screened in the East of The West competitive section. It is now time for his second project, entitled Kids of the Night and currently being filmed in Estonia.

Pääsuke’s coming-of-age comedy, penned by Ewert Kiwi and Mart Raun (who will also serve as DoP), revolves around the story of three sisters, who have each reached a different breaking point in their lives. Liis (Grete Konksi) has just graduated from high school and finds out that her planned future with her boyfriend may not be as certain as she thought; her older sister Karin (Piret Krumm), the first victim on their parents’ expectations, is trying to survive in a modern sexist business environment; while the youngest of the three, teenager Jane (Alice Siil) is trying to stand up to her party-loving friend’s pressure to be someone she is not. One fateful night will reveal all secrets and feelings the three have never dared to admit.
