Italian international sales agent The Open Reel has announced the acquisition of Liz’s Wait, the debut feature by Brazilian actor-producer-filmmaker Bruno Torres. The film follows Liz, who is beset by doubt and uncertainty as she searches for the reasons why her partner Miguel has abandoned her. During her introspection, she will feel the need for emotional support from her younger sister, Lara. As both sisters become closer, their connection becomes more intense, which leads them to rethink their inner values and strengthen the love that exists between them.
