ficha de la película] had its world premiere in the Nordic Documentary Competition of the Göteborg Film Festival. Now the film can boast an official international trailer, which Cineuropa presents exclusively.

The official synopsis reads: after the director places an ad online, two late teens in Stockholm offer to film themselves as they discover online dating. Naomi encounters problems setting up her webcam, and so Edvin offers to help her out. As they develop a rollercoaster relationship, they offer up their lives to the camera. Both brutally honest and heart-warming, Mating is the ultimate exposé of modern-day dating.

Mating was co-produced by SVT’s Charlotte Hellstrom, Ami Ekstrom of Film i Väst and Kirstine Barford of Kirstiine Barfod Film, with support from the Danish and Swedish Film Institutes and the Nordisk Film and TV Fond. London-based Film Republic has the international rights. 

The film will next head to the Biografilm Festival in Bologna and the Atlàntida Film Fest on Mallorca.
