The main screenings of the three films, which will include an introduction by each director and will be followed by a Q&A with them, moderated by Cineuropa editor-in-chief Domenico La Porta and by film critic Lieven Trio, will take place in Brussels. Both the introduction and the Q&A will be streamed live to every cinema taking part in the initiative, and every moviegoer will be able to take part in the conversations with the directors by sending their questions via Twitter and Facebook Live.

On top of this, the events will also be live-streamed on Facebook, the LUX Prize YouTube channel and the website of the Franco-German TV channel Arte.

The simultaneous screenings will thus begin on 6 November with The Other Side of Everything, from Brussels' BOZAR. On 7 November, it will be the turn of Woman at War, at Brussels' Cinema Galeries. Lastly, on 8 November, BOZAR will host the screening of the third film, Styx.

This year, a higher number of cinemas will participate in the event. Apart from the screenings in Brussels, The Other Side of Everything will also be seen in Athens, Bari, Bologna, Charleroi, Copenhagen, Ghent, Kolding, Krakow, Odense, Rijeka, Rotterdam and Tartu. Woman at War will  reach Athens, Charleroi, Ghent, Paris, Rijeka, Rotterdam, Santiago de Compostela and Tartu. Finally, Styx will be enjoyed in Amsterdam, Athens, Baden, Bologna, Boras, Dresden, Kolding, Krakow, Lahti, Limassol, Ljubljana (as part of the Ljubljana International Film Festival), Osijek, Porto, Santiago de Compostela, Stockholm (as part of the Stockholm Film Festival), Tartu and Toulouse. Many of these screenings will be local premieres, and all of them will be free of charge.

Head over to the LUX Prize agenda to find out the exact time and venue for the screening in your city and take part in a unique wide-European debate.
