Bari, late 1980s. Santa is just shy of twenty, and, like any young woman, she has her dreams and fears, and entrusts them to her diary. She is a devout Christian who is also hungry for life, and though she wants to become a nun, she intends to graduate from college first, as she and her parents have decided. But someone comes between Santa and her aspirations. A man she met by chance in her parish starts stalking her, sending her rambling, disconnected letters, following her for three long years; no amount of reports to the police will stop him.
