Andrew Scott started his prolific acting career in Dublin, where he was born. He has had roles in theatre and in a number of feature films and highprofile television productions.
In the interview, he presents his leading role in Robert Quinn's Dead Bodies, for which he was awarded an Irish Film and Television Award as "Best Actor" in 2003.
The film is a black comedy thriller about the protagonist who accidentally kills his girlfriend and decides to keep the fact secret. As the actor says, the film follows the psychological plummeting of the protagonist, who gradually becomes paranoid and stressed.
He continues talking about European cinema; he believes in fact that European films are very well known for their quality, and that they have an autonomous audience, which must be satisfied by a constant film production and distribution.
