. The story about three young cineastes set against the background of the '68 Paris student riots.

He says that the film is not an autobiography, although he defines it as an extremely personal film, something that belongs to him, as "an enthusiastic physiological flashback".

When he is asked if there are any common elements with his Last Tango in Paris, he says that apart from the location - Paris, the two films represent the beginning and the end of an era.
