If Life Gives You Lemons
Clip 4 [it]
by Ciro D'Emilio
Antonio is seventeen years old and has a dream: to play soccer for a big club. He lives in a small town in Campania, a part of the world where it is not always so easy to make your way. The situation is made even more complicated by the beautiful Miriam, a tender but extremely problematic mother who loves him more than anyone else in the world. Carlo, Antonio’s father, abandoned them when he was very young and Miriam is obsessed with the idea of rebuilding the family.
Luckily he has soccer and, above all, his friends: Stefano Caccialepre, the team’s centre forward, and Peppe Lambiase, the creative playmaker who is never at a loss for an answer, with a talent for idling and a nose for getting into trouble. All of a sudden life seems to present Antonio and Miriam with a real opportunity: a talent scout, Michele Astarita, is looking for promising youngsters to take to the Parma team’s Primavera and, when he sees Antonio play, it’s a real revelation. But there is a high price to pay for every dream.
