, Haifaa Al-Mansour, is taking part in the Miu Miu Women's Tales project with The Wedding Singer's Daughter, a short film set during a Saudi wedding in the 1980s, where a group of women, hidden from the gaze of men, rid themselves of the traditional black abayas, showing off their magnificent gowns and wild hairdos. The short was presented in the Giornate degli Autori at Venice 2018.
