The 53rd Berlin International Film Festival opened with production of the famous Broadway musical Chicago by Rob Marshall, the debut by Broadway choreographer presented as an out-of-competition screening. The musical film adaptation explores the themes of celebrity and scandal in Jazz age in 1920's Chicago.
The video reports the red carpet arrivals of the Chicago team, before the premiere of their film, with Richard Gere, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Renée Zellweger, Rob Marshall and John C. Reilly, and other stars and guests who attended the gala ceremony.
