European EFM line-up for Wild Bunch

Despite having no titles selected in the different sections of the Berlinale (February 5-15), French international sales company Wild Bunch is emerging as one of the main attractions at the upcoming European Film Market.

The team headed by Vincent Maraval will start sales for Manuel Pradal’s La Blonde aux seins nus (“The Bare-Breasted Blonde”, see news); Vladimir Perisic’s The Ordinary People (see news); Sound of Noise by Swedish directors Ola Simonsson and Stjärne Nilsson; Elie Suleiman’s French production Time That Remains; and the collective film Tales From The Golden Age by Romania’s Iona Uricaru, Hanno Hoanfer, Razvan Marculescu, Constantin Popescu and Cristian Mungiu. Promotional reels will be shown for the first three titles.

Next Friday and Saturday, promotional reels will also be presented for UK director Ken Loach’s Looking for Eric, French/Romanian filmmaker Radu Mihaileanu’s Le Concert, Gaspard Noé’s Enter the Void, Woody Allen’s Whatever Works, Belgian director Jaco Van Dormael’s Mr Nobody, The Good Heart [+see also:

by Iceland’s Dagur Kari and Jan Kounen’s Coco Chanel & Igor Stavinsky.

Selected footage will also be unveiled for Marina de Van’s Ne te retourne pas (“Don’t Turn Around”), Spanish director Gabe Ibanez’s Hierro (“Iron”), Danish filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn’s Valhalla Rising, Paul King’s UK feature The Bunny and the Bull, Laurent Tirard’s Le petit Nicolas (”Little Nicholas”), French/Japanese animated co-production Yona Yona Penguin, Chinese director Lou Ye’s Spring Fever and Bruno PodalydèsPublic Benches. There will also be a ten-minute 3D screening of Oceans 3D: Voyage of a Turtle by Jean-Jacques and François Mantello.
