The European Film Promotion (EFP) and the San Sebastian International Film Festival (September 18-27) launched a new promotion initiative entitled "European Distributors: Up Next", set to take place on September 26 during the renowned Basque Country festival.

Ten independent distributors from Central and Eastern Europe will attend the festival to discuss the possibilities of theatrical distribution on a European level. Since the majority of European producers do not cross national borders, the meetings in San Sebastian aim to create possible platform and networking opportunities to improve the circulation of European productions.
