Wild Bunch launches Dorothy Mills in LA

French international sales company Wild Bunch is headed to the American Film Market, which kicks off tomorrow in Los Angeles.

With around 30 titles in its official line-up, Vincent Maraval’s team will notably start sales for Agnès Merlet’s Dorothy Mills (news). Currently in post-production, the English-language French/Irish feature (Fidelite Films/Octagon Films) stars Dutch actress Carice van Houten (Black Book [+see also:

Two other post-production titles Wild Bunch will start selling are Tokyo, a three-part film directed by Michel Gondry, Leos Carax and Bong Joon-Ho, and Abel Ferrara’s documentary Chelsea on the Rocks, about the legendary New York hotel.

Among the films currently shooting, opportunities abound with titles such as Don’t Go Back by Marina de Van, starring Sophie Marceau and Monica Bellucci (news – already pre-bought in Europe across 20 or so territories); Mr Nobody by Belgian director Jaco van Dormael, starring Jared Leto, Sarah Polley and Diane Kruger; Largo Winch by Jérôme Salle, starring Tomer Sisley; and Steven Soderbergh's two-part film Che (see news).

Post-production features that Wild Bunch will be pinning its hopes on include Afterwards by Gilles Bourdos, starring Romain Duris and John Malkovich (see article); Vicky Cristina Barcelona by Woody Allen, starring Scarlett Johansson, Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem; White Material by Claire Denis, starring Isabelle Huppert; and Vinyan by Fabrice du Welz, starring Emmanuelle Béart and Rufus Sewell.
