The Rome market, directed by Giorgio Gosetti and based in Via Veneto, saw the participation of 250 international buyers (160 in 2006), including The Weinstein Company, Canal +, MK2, Prokino, CJ, Happinet, Sandrew Metronome, Momentum, Vertigo Films, Gaga, Broad Media, King Records, and 60 sellers from 40 companies, such as NonStop Sales, Wild Bunch, Celluloid Dreams, Sogepaq, TF1, The Match Factory, Bavaria, Gaumont, Pyramide and Films Distribution, among others.

There were 600 accredited professionals (440 in 2006) from over 40 countries, led by France, Germany, the UK, the US and Japan, as well as Italy, whose institutions also participated (including the Rome Chamber of Commerce, Lazio Region, ICE – Institute for Foreign Commerce, and the Ministries of International Commerce and Culture), along with Confindustria with the FICCI. There was a delegation of 68 Indian producers, the Documentary Filmmakers Association, Media Consulting Group and the API (Association of Independent Producers).
