Starring Edouard Baer, the film – which is due to begin its eight-week shoot on June 25 in and around Paris – will recount the strange adventures of an 11 year-old boy.

When he moves yet again to a new town and dreams of leading a normal life, Noé is forced by his father to follow intensive training (martial arts, combat sports) and a rigorous discipline to defend himself against mysterious persecutors.

The script was penned by Fabien Vehlmann, author of the comic strip dubbed Goscinny du troisième millénaire (Green Manor, Seuls, Les Cinq Conteurs de Bagdad, Le Marquis d’Anaon) and co-written by the director.

Chez Wam also began shooting on June 5 on La Personne aux deux personnes, starring Daniel Auteuil, Alain Chabat and Marina Foïs.

The debut feature by Bruno and Nicolas, known for the French TV series Le Bureau (“The Office”), tells of how an office employee (Auteuil) finds himself with the voice and personality of a former singer (Chabat) following a car accident that involved the two men and caused the death of the latter.

The awkward presence of the singer and his attempts at getting rid of something he never wanted lie at the heart of his comedy, pre-bought and co-produced by TF1 Films Production and Studio Canal (also co-producer), who will be handling the title’s French release and international sales.

Other projects on Chez Wam’s slate include Bébé(s) by Thomas Balmès. The documentary follows the first year in the life of four babies from four different countries, from the day they are born to when they take their first steps.

The film, which began shooting in April 2006, is being co-produced by Studio Canal, who holds theatrical and video rights, and will also be handling world sales.
