by Aleksi Salmenperä (Producing Adults) – set to screen in competition at the upcoming Moscow International Film Festival – to a handful of territories at Cannes.

MDC’s Wigbert Moschall said he closed Norway (Sandrew Metronome), Estonia (Estin Film), Taiwan (Cineplex) while Germany and France should be finalised by the end of the market.

The story of a man who becomes a male prostitute to support his family was produced by Blind Spot Pictures in Finland with support from the Finnish Film Foundation and Nordic Film & TV Fund. The film has scored 50,000 admissions from 13 prints in Finland since its February release through Sandrew Metronome.

Moschall said the market started briskly as early as Wednesday, May 16, with a little slowing down yesterday. But, as usual, he expects to do two-thirds of his turnover after the first weekend.

, written and directed by Metod Pevec, which will open domestically next September. German drama Act of Violence by Lars Henning Jung is in post-production and is being presented to buyers as a promo-reel. Moschall is also finishing sales on three German films that were selected in Berlin, including the Forum entry Jagdhunde (Hounds) [+see also:
