Nine German films and co-productions in New York

Vivere by Angelina Maccarone will be participating in the International Narrative Feature competition at the 6th Tribeca Film Festival (25.04. – 06.05.2007).

The International Showcase section will show films which have already been successfully presented at other international festivals. Germany will be represented here by The Man From The Embassy by Dito Tsintsadze along with the Swiss-German co-production Fraulein [+see also:

The animation film Impy's Island (Urmel aus dem eis) by Holger Tappe and Reinhard Klooss will screen in theTribeca Family Festival. The Shorts section will be showing Petra Schroeder's short Exploding Buds (Knospen Wollen Explodieren).

The TRIBECA Film Festival was founded in 2002 by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkof. It has since become firmly established in the New York film scene and is an outstanding springboard for European films on the North American market.
