Trier's Boss sold to IFC in the US

Lars von Trier’s Danish comedy The Boss of it All has just been sold by Trust Film Sales to IFC Entertainment in the US, who will release it through its day and date label IFC First Take in the spring of 2007.

Other key territories that have acquired von Trier's latest creation include France (Les Films du Losange ), Benelux (A-Film Distribution), Switzerland (Frenetic), Italy (Lucky Red), Spain (Golem), Greece (Hollywood Entertainment), Russia and Ukraine (Central Partnership), Brazil (California) and Canada (Seville Pictures).

The Boss of it All had its world premiere at the Copenhagen International Film Festival on September 21 and has since travelled to several other top international film festivals, such as San Sebastian, Pusan, Rejkavik and Montreal Nouveau Cinema. It is currently screening at the BFI 50th London Film Festival along with eight other Danish films.

Von Trier is currently working on his upcoming project Antichrist, an English-language horror movie set in the US.
