An Honour Prize for Roman Polanski

During the European Film Awards ceremony, which will take place on December 2 in Warsaw, the European Film Academy will grant master French-Polish filmmaker Roman Polanski a career award. In a press release announcing the ceremony, the European Film Academy, presided over by Wim Wenders, emphasised Polanski's "impressive contribution to cinema worldwide" as an actor, scriptwriter, director and producer.
