Wild Bunch has already sold the film in Europe to Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Benelux, Portugal, Iceland, Romania and territories of the former Yugoslavia.

Soavi (Dellamorte Dellamore, 1994) recounts the dark misadventures of Giorgio (Boni), a former extreme-left terrorist who seeks refuge in Central America to avoid prosecution. On moving back to Italy, he becomes a spy for a dubious commissioner (Placido) in exchange for a reduced sentence and then returns to the nocturnal world, where he is caught up in the extreme violence of a society in which evil seems to reign.

by French director Jean-Martial Lefranc, distributed by Bac Films.

Shot on DV with a €1.02m budget, Lefranc’s debut feature is an account of the manoeuvres of a terrorist network that uses the government as an accomplice to escape from the surveillance of Western secret services in order to plant a nuclear bomb in Paris with a view to committing an attack.

Said Lefranc: "Choosing a sensitive, even highly sensitive, subject makes it a little more difficult to get backing from a television broadcaster. The Balance of Terror opens the debate so that everyone can make up their own mind on what is referred to as the ‘war against terrorism’. The position of each character is defendable. Terrorist or secret service agent, political or scientific leader with libertarian beliefs, everyone has their own story to tell."
